Kelli Moors is an experienced communications strategist who has provided advice and guidance to public agencies for more than 25 years. She previously worked as the Public Information Officer for a large San Diego area public hospital, and also spent many years advising public education entities across California, with emphases on community engagement and crisis communication. Ms. Moors served as an elected school board member in the Carlsbad Unified School District for 13 years. She is a popular presenter and trainer at conferences and in-service professional development events.

Ms. Moors has developed and managed a wide range of communication materials, from press releases and speeches to newsletters and presentations. She is a media relations expert, serving as a spokesperson and cultivating positive relationships with local and regional media outlets.

Ms. Moors has successfully overseen digital communication efforts, increasing engagement and expanding the reach of educational messages through targeted content and social media campaigns. She is skilled at navigating challenging scenarios in public education environments, delivering timely updates and leading post-crisis evaluations to continuously improve outcomes.
